We, group 8, chose the topic of "School Food of Hanyang University." Among many school cafeterias, we chose 3 different ones to find the best school food of Hanyang and suggest Hanyang students to try it. I hope it would be some help to promote students try school food more, rather than expensive Wangsimni food. In this project, we take pictures of school cafeteria building(both inside and outside) and menu, take videos of us eating the school food, and finally evaluate the overall 3 school food cafeterias. We will put diverse, honest and live reaction to the school food when eating because at that time, all group members including me might be hungry and we will judge the price, taste, nutrition, diversity and more. I think it would be a real objective and useful information for students who will go to school cafeterias in the future. Also, we will add some interviews of cooks and students that will help viewers compare the school food more comfortably. Hyejin Kim will write the overall script of our movie. Daehee Kang will film the movie and Hojo Kim will edit the film we took and complete the movie including voices and music. I, Eunchae Lee will take the part of interviewing cooks and students. I hope we do a great job making a 10 minute movie for this class.
1. This is the picture when a person fell down to the railroad, all the passengers tried to push the subway to save him. The brave behavior of losts of people was so touching.
2. This is the picture of Pope Francesco washing the foot of one of believers. He is famous for always being humble and serving all the people.
3. This is the picture of June Demoratic Resistance. Lots of people were sacrificed struggling to achieve the true democracy. For their sake, citizens have been voting their own president on their own.
4. This is the picture of 2002 World Cup held in Korea. I was so young that I couldn't participate in, but I cheered at home. The passion was so great that even I can hear the sound of cheering after midnight.
5. This is the picture of Paul McCartney singing Hey Jude in 2012 London Olympic. The opening ceremony of London Olympic was great, but the best part was this, I think. Finally, Paul McCartney visits Korea and has a concert here in Seoul at my birthday. I'm so happy that I can go there and I'm really looking forward hearing all the songs.
I remember the first day I met Nero. After
my friend told me to give one of her cats to me, I visited my friend's house to
bring her, and she was shivering; suddenly a stranger came to her place and she
was just a kitten. My friend carried her on her back and I just watched a
cat-not mine yet- staring around fearfully all the way home. After my mom
permitted raising Nero and brought her to home, nothing changed. She just stuck
in veranda outside and looked around strangers-actually my family members including
myself-, observing them not to harm her. It went over 3 months. She never came
out when my family was there and we brought her food to veranda. Then I left
her at home and went America for travel.

After coming back home, I was really
surprised. Nero was on my mom's thigh and rubbing her cheek on my mom's knees.
I asked my mom, what is happened at all. My mom said, when weeks later, Nero
sometimes came out to eat, then weeks later again, she came to family more and
more, and finally, now she hang around freely and sleep inside, not the cold
veranda. That is 9 years ago. 9 years after, now, she always comes to where
family is and nag us to play with, give food, and sleep together. She is the
energy of my family and the youngest sister that never makes me alone.

Raising a companion animal is letting an
animal become a family member. It looks simple, but is definitely not. It
requires a certain decision, responsibilities as master, and permission of all
family members. Therefore, you never buy or adopt one with the thought of
"Oh, it's cute" or something. You should keep it in mind that
"it" lives near 15 years with you and one life is under your control.
So, I want to recommend raising a companion animal to appropriate people;both
external and internal conditions should be satisfied.
The biggest positive point of raising a
pet is that pet becomes the energy source of whole family. Near dinner time, my
parents and I are exhausted and walk slowly to home like zombies with all kind
of stresses, but, when we look a cute white hair cat with blue eyes named Nero,
we all forget the irritating things and smile. The cuteness makes the blue
atmosphere to shinny and bright. When all the family members go out
except me, I feel alone. When I came late and everybody sleeping, I feel alone.
Then, my cat comes nearby and pesters me to hug her. Afterwards, all the
silence and loneliness are gone! We always say that raising Nero was the best
choice of our life that one little cat makes 5 people happy all the time. Also, raising a cat, I became more aware of how precious life is, and more responsible. Raising a pet means you should take care of and be responsible to him/her. Growing together and watching pet's death later, one can cherish life even more and the sense of responsibility will be developed.
Of course, raising a pet accompanies some
things bothersome. Not little amount of money is needed from food to beauty
treatment. Sometime, the neutralization operation is needed, if you don't want
to have puppies or kittens, or your pet suffers too much during mating season.
My family is the second case. Nero cried all night till her voice got hoarse
and all of us couldn't sleep at night, we hardly decided the operation. To add,
because of pet's fur, you may have trouble in your bronchial tubes. 3 people
including me have rhinitis and sometimes when it becomes serious, we go to
hospital. The fur also sticks to clothes, sofa and beds, it's almost daily work
to get ride of them.
However, bearing all the bothersome
things, it's really worth raising a companion animal. A true family member and
friend of your life are really hard to have, therefore truly priceless. All
things go with corresponding responsibilities. I think responsibilities needed
to raise a pet are really small comparing to the happiness and vitality you get
through this. So, I want to ask, how about welcoming your new family member?

I love eating so much that I think eating is the purpose of life. As a Hanyang University student, I have visited many restaurants as possible. In this post, I want to evaluate some of the chicken restaurants in Wangsimni.
I'm a real chicken mania that eat chicken three days in a row. There are lots of chicken places in here, but I want to choose some of them. Go straight to the street and turn left, then there is the first recommendable chicken place, "Po-Chicken". What's the name, Po-Chicken? It's the combination of potato and chicken. Po-Chicken is popular for chicken and potato sets. Also, I can choose 2 chicken sauces I like. I ordered chilly and garlic sauces and they were all good. The atmosphere and interior are also nice. Overall, It is small in quantity but its chicken is crunchy, sauces are delicious, and fried potato is also nice. I'm going to visit there in this week.
The next place I want to recommend is "Hello Chicken". The same point with Po-Chicken is that Hello Chicken also gives us fried potato. I visited here with lots of people but the restaurant was large that we could have dinner altogether. The thing I most liked is it is large in quantity, so there would be no accident of insufficient amount of chicken. Its chicken is delicious and people are kind, but sometimes it is a little bit noisy. It would be appropriate for going with lots of friends, but inappropriate for people who want to have dinner in calm atmosphere with a few friends.
The last chicken restaurant I recommend is "Yellow Chicken". As the name is yellow chicken, the basic fried chicken is a little bit yellow with curry sauce. It cook with a traditional iron pot, so the taste of chicken is unique and nice. Its atmosphere is a little humorous and noisy. Lots of people come here to chat with friends together and the posters in here are funny. There is a small room in here and I really liked it, so if you want to try going there, go to this room!
I have many hobbies and interests like music and game, but today I want to talk about my favorite sport, baseball. I really enjoy watching baseball games, and I want to introduce my favorite baseball team, Doosan Bears to you.
Doosan Bears is a Seoul-based team with LG Twins and Nexen Heroes. Then, why am I a big fan of Doosan Bears for a long time, not those 2 teams? Bears is a team of passion and tenacity. Bears is not the strongest team, but it has the attraction that makes fans cannot stop cheering. When fans almost give up, Bears turn the game around. Last year, when Bears barely advanced to the semifinals, nobody expected them to go to the Korean Series. However, despite of exhaustion and injury of players, they finally advanced to the final and sadly lost with the score of 3:4. Sadly, I couldn't go to the baseball stadium last year, but I remember the thrilling moment of victory when I went to the Jamsil Stadium to see Bears games. This year, I'm sure I'll go to cheer for them a lot. Unfortunately, many popular players leaved Bears this year, but I will keep cheering, because I believe the spirit of Bears will not go away.
Hello! I feel like I'm just muttering alone, but I want to introduce myself for anybody somewhere.
First, my name is Eunchae Lee and I live in Seoul, South Korea. My hometown is a silent place because people go out to work in the morning and come back in evening. There are a big park, department stores and restaurants, so it's a good place to live in.
I have two elder brothers, each 7 and 5 years older. As you guess, my home was full of noisy sound including yelling and crying. Now my brothers live outside near workplace, so I fell a little bit alone. I also have a cute cat named Nero, but she is a white-hairred Turkish Angora. Nero has always been aside me so I think her as my family member.
Now,let me talk about my interests and hobbies. I really like music, both listening and singing. I don't have a particular favorite music genre, I just listen to all. You guys may heard of K-Pop and I love it too. Famous groups as K-Pop singers are idol groups, I think, and I like Infinite, Bigbang, and 2NE1. Beside them, I like Korean modern rock bands, especially Nell and Jaurim, Park Jung Hyun, and Gummi who are Korean R&B singers.
Also, I like hiphop and my favorite is Epik High. I said I love singing and this is not my own characteristic. Most Koreans love singing and dancing so karaokes are all over the place in here. Of course, I go to karaoke at least once a week. Also, I am the vocal of a rock band in my university department and I am really looking forward to performing in front of audience. Then, move on to another hobbies. I really like playing and watching computer games. Playing computer games is a common hobby, but what is about watching? I think you may wonder. Game Industry is really developed in Korea, so the concept of E-Sports is first settled in here, too. Now, lots of progamers playing Starcraft and League of Legends compete not only in Korea but worldwide. For example, last year's LOL World Championship Final was held in LA Staples Center with huge audience and online viewers.
